QUARTZITE SLABS

Check our inventory here.

Quartzite is naturally occurring, metamorphic rock formed from Sandstone. When Sandstone comes into contact with magma buried deep Whitin the earth's surface, quartzite forms from natural quartz grain. Quartzite can be of exceptional strength, density and hardness.
We highly recommended quartzite for kitchen countertop due to similar color and veining to marble, but with much higher resistance to everyday chemicals.
Although all quartzites are not 100% porous-free, the abrasion resistance and weathering durability of quartzite allow for its use in almost any application

Granite is type of igneous rock that is formed under many layers of sedimentary minerals. Granite is one of the most abundant igneous rocks on the earth's surface. It is formed under extreme pressure and heat from underneath the Earth. This is called intrusive granite. one of the two classifications for granite indicative of the typical location where it hardens to form the granite rock we've come to know and love.

MARBLE SLAB

Check our inventory here.

Marble is type of metamorphic rock, which is formed when limestone is altered by intense pressure and heat within the earth. The varied color and distinctive veins in marble come from layers of different minerals and impurities that crystallize together.
*Calcite or Dolomite.
*Slit and Sand.
*Pyrite.
*Feldspar.
*Iron Oxide.
*Magnesium and Serpentine.
The layers of sediment are what lead to gorgeous range of veining, colors and patterns, from delicate swirls to sweeping, dramatic or bold veins that give the stone its distinctive style  and personality.
Marble continues to be one of the most popular choices for classic, luxurious countertop in kitchen and bathroom.
As natural stone, it is quite hard and durable, but softer than quartzite and granite. Marble can be scratched or etched by acidic products, so it's important to keep it protected with a proper sealant and always clean up spills right away. With careful maintenance and due attention, your stunning marble countertops or tiles will retain their look for many years to come.

QUARTZ SLABS

Check our inventory here.

Quartz Slabs are made of engineered stone. To make the countertops, roughly 90 percent ground quartz is blended with about 10 percent resins, pigments and various compounds to form quartz slabs. After the slabs are cured in a kiln, the desired finish is applied. The exact percentages that make up a quartz countertop will differ slightly depending on different brands (Caesarstone, Silestone, Cambria, etc.). Since these slabs are engineered, quartz countertops are non-porous, meaning they will not require the sealing that natural stone surfaces do.
